FO Friday - Mirror Ball Geranium Dress

Christina B March 4, 2016

Pattern: Geranium Dress, size 4

Fabric: Michael Miller Mirror Ball Dots and I forget what the solid is.

I finished this dress back in October and am just getting around to sharing it today. Sadly, my sweet girl has grown since then and buttoning the bodice is tight by now. Overall I love this pattern. It fits my girl well and is really well-written. I love the length on the skirt - unlikes most of her commercial dresses she doesn't need shorts under this dress.

She asked me to make her a dress and chose these fabrics out of my collection. I was a little stumped on how to combine them and spent a lot of time combing through Instagram for inspiration. I loved this color blocking style and I think it really works.

While I was at it I couldn't resist making a tiny version for my newest niece. So wee and shiny!
